About This Notice

This notice explains how enquiry information submitted through Leeds Asbestos Services is used. It covers the contact forms on this website and the technical information needed to receive and protect those submissions. Last reviewed: 21 October 2026.

Information You Provide

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, optional phone number, service needed and message. The website domain is sent with the submission so the enquiry can be linked to the website where you made it. Please include only the business and site details needed to assess your request.

Avoid including health information, identity documents, passwords or other sensitive personal details. A phone number is optional and you can leave that field blank.

How Your Enquiry Is Used

Your information is used to respond to your request, clarify site requirements and assess the service you need. We ask for your agreement before your enquiry details may be passed to a suitable local firm so it can assess the request and contact you about it.

The agreement checkbox is not selected in advance. Submitting an enquiry does not book work, accept a quotation or agree to marketing. Any proposed work and commercial terms need to be confirmed separately with the firm responding to you.

The Basis For Processing

We rely on the agreement you give through the form for the use and sharing described there. Necessary technical processing, such as protecting the form against abuse and maintaining service security, may be carried out on the basis of legitimate interests. Information may also be retained where needed to meet a legal obligation.

Who May Receive Information

A suitable local firm may receive the contact and project information needed to assess your enquiry, where you have agreed. Providers used to host the website, deliver the form or protect it against misuse may process information to provide those services.

A firm receiving an enquiry is responsible for explaining its own subsequent use of your information. We do not sell your information for unrelated marketing, and the form does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Retention And Security

Enquiry information should be kept only for as long as needed to handle the request, resolve related questions and meet relevant record-keeping obligations. The appropriate period depends on the enquiry and any resulting work.

Access should be limited to those who need the information, with suitable technical safeguards. Do not use the form to send information that is unnecessary for the enquiry.

Your Choices And Rights

You can ask to access or correct your information, request deletion, restrict processing or withdraw your agreement. Where applicable, you can also object to processing or request a portable copy of the information you provided. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it.

Use the contact form and select Not Sure Yet to make a privacy request. Identify the earlier enquiry using the minimum detail needed to find it and state what you want to change. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office through its official website.

Cookies And External Fonts

The static pages do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Google Fonts is used to display the Barlow typefaces, which means your browser requests font files from Google and may share technical information such as your IP address. External reference links take you to websites with their own privacy practices.
